Extreme care was taken to restore this listed building.
The Cornmill is of national importance in terms of its technical completeness and one of very few in the province to be still workable under a live water supply.
Since a refurbishment in the mid 1980’s it has been open to the public as a visitor centre.
Internal and external restoration was in keeping with the original building in terms of design, materials and methods of repair
